The bob haircut has reigned supreme this year, just like Zendaya. Hair maestro Luke Hersheson went so far as to declare it the hottest style of summer. And the look has been championed by the likes of Helena Christensen, Dua Lipa and Kaia Gerber. Now, Zendaya has joined in and gone for a dramatic chop.
At an Euphoria event in Los Angeles with her fellow cast members over the weekend, the 26-year-old actor debuted a soft-textured short bob that inevitably turned heads. With a side parting and lots of volume, Zendaya’s new look is reminiscent of retro hairstyles from the 1950s. But a sleek blow dry ensured the overall vibe was modern – and as subtle as it was glamorous.
Of course, Zendaya’s ensemble had to complement her new ’do. Her look comprised a black polo top with pearl buttons and a houndstooth, figure-hugging pencil skirt, both by Schiaparelli. The look was finished with a classic pair of black Christian Louboutin heels.
