Rapper Yung Joc and Kendra Robinson are still planning their dream wedding — despite the coronavirus pandemic.
Joc — born Jasiel Amon Robinson — proposed to Robinson in July 2019, but their nuptials were put on hold due to COVID-19.
“It definitely threw out the wedding planning,” Joc told Page Six on Monday. “It pushed us into a whole new mental capacity. We said we weren’t going to be the couple that was engaged forever. We want to get engaged and get married right away.”
Joc, who is starring in “Love & Hip Hop: It’s a Love Thing” alongside his fiancée, said the couple has been “thinking of alternatives and what to do to properly, you know, set the tone and placement for our future wedding plans.”
“My ideal wedding looks like us, making it to the end with nobody walking up to the church saying, ‘Hey! I oppose!’” he laughed, adding, “A perfect wedding would just to be able to look into each other’s eyes knowing that we worked and fought hard for this very day and to just be able to share our love unconditionally in front of the world.”
This will be Joc’s second wedding. The rapper, 37, was previously married to Alexandria Robinson from 2001 until 2014.
In the meantime, Joc told us he plans to spoil his bride-to-be for Valentine’s Day with a trip to a cabin where he can “take the time to just love on my lady properly.”
