The best mascara is a make-up bag staple; once you find your favorite formula, you’ll never let it out of your sight – as Tracee Ellis Ross knows.
The star, who launched her own haircare line, Pattern Beauty, in 2019, previously told Vogue that she always applies her own mascara, even when she’s getting her make-up done.
Ross has just been appointed Diversity & Inclusion Adviser for Ulta Beauty, as the retailer promises to double the number of Black-owned brands it stocks in 2021.
Speaking to InStyle at a recent virtual event for her brand, she shared the mascara she’d just discovered that’s giving her lashes major volume, and that she’d worn it for a recent appearance on Good Morning America.
