Amber and Kyle tied the knot in style in the spring of 2019 at the gorgeous Gardens of Vizcaya. Even though the venue is in Miami, it was inspired by European architecture, which makes it the perfect backdrop to this stunning regal wedding.
The pair first met at a masquerade party on New Year’s Eve in 2012 and sparks flew, but timing was not on their side. Over the years they grew closer, and four years later, they began dating. For Kyle’s birthday, Amber organized a fun beach vacation at Virginia Beach with all their friends and family. Amber was under the impression she was planning his birthday party, so she was surprised when Kyle got down on one knee and asked her to marry him while they were surrounded by their loved ones!
Their wedding was truly elegance personified with a black, white, and gold color palette. It was full of personal touches, too. Kyle is half Jamaican, and Amber describes herself as a Southern belle, so they incorporated that into their food choices – they served cute spoons filled with mac and cheese and jerk chicken sliders for cocktail hour.
“We also love cigars, cars, and ’90s music! Our amazing DJ [Mike] Deuce mixed it up on the dance floor [with] Jamaican, ’90s, and early 2000s hip hop and R&B,” Amber said. “We had a cigar roller as my husband is a cigar aficionado, and posed near a sexy 1958 red Corvette in our wedding pictures.” The photos are absolutely stunning – keep reading to see the fun and beautiful day unfold!
