Local woman opens drive thru beauty supply store

SB3 has hair products delivered right to your car.

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — Small Business Saturday is on November 27, and there are lots of great businesses in Huntsville to shop from.

A local woman has opened the first drive thru beauty supply store in Huntsville on 1111 Wayne Rd NW. Misha Strickland owns SB3, the beauty supply store connected to her salon, Misha’s Beauty Bar.

Strickland opened the drive thru in April 2020 after she noticed other supply stores in the area had inconsistent hours, or weren’t able to survive the pandemic.

Her sons are the co-owners of SB3, because Strickland wants to create generational wealth and break ‘generational curses’.

Strickland promotes other small businesses by selling their hair products in the beauty supply store, and she is grateful that the community supports her passion.

“Getting it of the ground… it was kind of hard finding the vendors for it, but once I did research, it was kind of easy after that,” Strickland reflects. “My main thing is that I get what the people really want. “
