THEFT
800 Monticello
A theft of jewelry , sometime since the first of the year, was noted at 5 a.m. Friday at a residence in the 800 block of Monticello Place.
600 Michigan
Someone attempted unsuccessfully to remove a catalytic converter from a vehicle in the 600 block of Michigan Avenue around 3 a.m. today.
1100 Church
A catalytic converter was removed from a 2006 Toyota in the 1100 block of Church Street between 6 p.m. Wednesday and 10:30 a.m. Friday.
1900 Grey
A customer failed to pay his taxi fare in the 1900 block of Grey Avenue at about 3:30 a.m. Saturday.
600 Hull
A package was stolen from a home in the 600 block of Hull Terrace between 5 p.m. and 6:32 p.m. Friday.
BATTERY
1806 Dodge
Jesus N. Hernandez, 28, of 1806 Dodge Ave., was arrested at that address at 1:05 a.m. Saturday and charged with battery. He is due in court on Mary 12 at 10:30 a.m.
DRUGS
1310 Foster
Trenton Alexander Hunt, 21, of 855 Hinman Ave., was arrested at 1310 Foster St. at 4:15 p.m. yesterday and charged with a drug offense.
GRAFFITI
100 Kedzie
A home was defaced with spray-painted graffiti in the 100 block of Kedzie Street between 10 p.m. Thursday and 10:26 a.m. Friday.
1700 Grey
Graffiti was discovered on the garage of a home in the 1700 block of Grey Avenue at 9:14 a.m. yesterday.
TRAFFIC
Clark at Birchwood
Hector Daniel Montoya, 18, of 1805 Grey Ave., was arrested at Clark Street and Birchwod Avenue, Chicago, at 8:55 a.m. yesterday and charged with a traffic violation.
1422 Ashland
Javonni M. Reid, 22, of 6450 N. Ashland Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 1422 Ashland Ave. at 12:01 p.m. Saturday and charged with a traffic violation. A court date has been set for May 28 at 1:30 p.m.
500 Greenwood
Jose Manuel Sanchez Martinez, 26, was arrested at 500 Greenwood St. at 8:39 a.m. Friday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on May 28 at 1:30 p.m.
2000 Green Bay
Roger T. Smith, 38, of 1723 Lyons St., was arrested at 2000 Green Bay Road at 8:17 a.m. Wednesday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on May 28 at 1:30 p.m.
