Fashionistas throw wild affair at Airbnb, ‘damage’ $120K piano

This affair was may have been in fashion, but it was way out of tune.

Thanks to wild Instagram video and photos, one Airbnb host found out that a temporary tenant’s photo shoot — with a high-profile fashion model — caused pricey damage to her $120,000 grand piano.

Fashion designer Mikhael Kale rented a swanky Paris apartment for €1,000 euros a night during that city’s Fashion Week in September.

Apartment owner Gina, who asked to be identified only by her first name, said the Canadian-born Kale told her he needed the apartment to chill as he prepped for his post-apocalypse-themed fashion show. She told The Post that the designer promised there would be no social events at the home unless he worked it out with her in advance.

Model Eva Shaw was caught on video — and in a kooky outfit  — playing the Airbnb's piano while stiletto-clad models cavorted atop the instrument.

“There will be absolutely no gatherings of any sort,” Kale assured her in a written statement, according to Gina.

He also agreed to her rule that the piano remain covered when not being used, Gina said.

Kale is said to have promised in writing there would be no social gatherings at the rental.

But after Kale checked out, Gina alleged that her house cleaner noticed that the piano’s cover was put back wrong and that the instrument’s black lacquer finish had been heavily scratched.

Gina then looked at the instagram accounts of Kale and model/DJ Eva Shaw — and was shocked by what she found.

A video shows Shaw plunking the keys of Gina’s Hamburg Steinway piano while wearing an outfit covered with rings that look like film reels. Meanwhile, two other models sprawl on top of the instrument clad in bodysuits, masks, knee pads, spiky high heels — and extra fake legs.

“Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous,” coos an unseen photographer.

Gina claimed that Kale’s bizarro bash led to thousands of dollars in damages to the piano.

“I assumed they would treasure and respect the instrument, not treat it as a cheap prop,” she said. “They caused damage to the exterior of the piano all over.”

Kale did not respond to a call for comment.

The flap was first reported on Park Avenue Pianos’ Steinway blog, which noted that Airbnb responded to Gina’s complaint about the matter.

The photo shoot also included extra "legs" attached to models.

The service said in a statement that “we tripled damage protection from $1 million up to $3 million [this year], protecting both homes and its contents.

“Airbnb will now pay to restore, replace or reimburse hosts for valuables, including pianos, damaged by guests at its appraised value.”

Gina told The Post: “We are still waiting on exact estimates from professionals, but it could be in the tens of thousands of dollars. If you refinish one part of the piano you have to refinish it entirely to match the specialty high polish finish.”
