It’s officially Aquarius season! Wonderwall.com is rounding up the best and worst fashion moments from stars born in February, starting with Feb. 16th birthday girl Elizabeth Olsen. Though she comes from a seriously fashionable family — she’s the Elizabeth in sisters’ Mary-Kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen’s Elizabeth and James fashion line– she doesn’t always score a fashion hit. Case in point? This disastrous Dior number she wore to a screening of “Wind River” in 2017. This snoozy collared design was unfortunate enough when we thought it was a dress… but it was actually a jumpsuit complete with a belted waist and wide-legged, pleated pants. Yikes! Keep reading for our favorite look on the Marvel star, plus more February birthday fashion…

Fortunately, Elizabeth Olsen had a much better Dior moment earlier that same year while attending the Christian Dior fashion show. The stylish actress sported this killer fringed and striped cropped top and pants combo with a pair of pointy-toe pumps, square shades and a yellow clutch.

Jennifer Aniston celebrates her birthday every year on Feb. 11. One of our least favorite looks from the star happens to be this 2016 moment when she sported a very busy Robert Cavalli number at the “Office Christmas Party” premiere. The printed frock felt a little too casual for a film premiere.

We’re going back more than two decades with our next pick! Back in 1999, Jennifer Aniston arrived at the Screen Actors Guild Awards in this quintessentially ’90s look — a handkerchief crop top and a matching skirt slung low. Not only did she pull it off, but it became our favorite look ever from the star.
Feb. 20th birthday girl Rihanna has always rocked killer couture, so picking our least favorite look was a challenge. We have to go with her golden Poiret pick at the “Ocean’s 8” premiere in 2018, thanks largely to the strange neckline and funky crushed and shiny fabric.
Picking a favorite Rihanna look was equally difficult, but we have to go with this stunning statement look from her annual Diamond Ball in 2018. The Alexis Mabille getup featured a lace jumpsuit underneath an oversized strategically placed bow that flowed into a half-skirt, which she completed with simple white strappy sandals.
Dakota Fanning celebrates her birthday on Feb. 23. The stylish star very rarely makes fashion missteps, but this bold Kenzo minidress she wore to the Fashion Media Awards in 2014 wasn’t a big hit. We weren’t wild about that busy print or those electric blue wedges that she added.
Our very favorite Dakota Fanning frock floated down the red carpet at the 2020 Golden Globes. This stunning lilac Dior design featured puffed sleeves, an empire waist and a full delicate layered tulle skirt. From the hue to the silhouette, everything about this dreamy design wowed us.
Jameela Jamil has served up some pretty flagrant fashion misses, but one of our least favorite looks has to be the Balmain design she wore to the 2019 Glamour Women of the Year Awards. The Feb. 27 birthday girl made a bad choice with the orange-and-black eyesore that included a sequined corset waist and added insult to injury when she paired it with polka dot tights.
When it comes to our very favorite Jameela Jamil look, that has to be her 2019 Primetime Emmys dress. The actress arrived at the show in this stunning Monique Lhuillier confection that gave us Princess Jasmine vibes with its pretty pale turquoise shade. The ballgown featured one off-the-shoulder sleeve and a unique and tiny cut-out on the bodice. She added one more great pop of color with a bold pink lip.
Kate Mara’s 2011 Screen Actors Guild Awards frock fell flat for us. The fashionista, who celebrates her birthday on Feb. 27, donned this beige Herve Leger number at the event, marking the biggest fashion miss we’ve seen from the star. The sleeveless design’s skirt was tiered and featured different textures, which didn’t seem to flow and seriously underwhelmed us.
We love a good pantsuit, and Kate Mara’s stunning green velvet pick is one of our favorites of all time. The star attended the Humane Society “To the Rescue” gala in 2017 in this Christian Siriano design and paired it with gold sandals.
From the baggy off-the-shoulder sleeves to the wide pants, Feb. 10th birthday girl Elizabeth Banks’ two-piece look from Emanuel Ungaro missed the mark back in 2017 at the Museum of Modern Art Film Benefit. The black choker and chunky black sandals only made matters worse.
Up next is a two-piece look we loved! Elizabeth Banks rocked this coordinated set by Monique Lhuillier to the 2019 Vanity Fair Oscar Party — it’s amazing what a different silhouette on the bottom can do. She paired her off-the-shoulder puffy-sleeved crop top with a full skirt this time for a fabulous, red-hot fashion statement.
Sorry, Millie Bobby Brown, but this one was a serious miss. Back at the 2018 Screen Actors Guild Awards, the actress arrived in this Calvin Klein by Appointment minidress with a train detail at the back. The pale pink frock with a halter neckline already felt a little too casual, but the addition of space buns and sneakers solidified this look as one of the Feb. 19th birthday girl’s worst to date.
The Givenchy minidress that Millie Bobby Brown wore to a 2019 “Stranger Things” event in Los Angeles was a major improvement. The sweet design featured spaghetti straps, off-the-shoulder sleeves and a ruffled skirt as well as a black lace border. Completing this fabulous look? Killer white sandals.
We’ve never been a fan of the high-low look, and Gemma Arterton’s Balmain frock back in 2008 at the premiere of “Quantum of Solace” proves exactly why. This funky silhouette fell flat with its front looking like a tiny miniskirt and its back dramatically cascading into a train. Add those severe (and very ’00s studded embellishments) and you have our least favorite look ever from this Feb. 2 birthday girl.
Our favorite Gemma Arterton fashion moment came at the closing ceremonies of the Venice Film Festival in 2016. She wore this beautiful bubblegum pink one-shouldered gown with a ruffle detail at the neckline featuring a perfectly pleated floor-length skirt.
Well, this is an… outfit. Feb. 17th birthday girl Paris Hilton has worn some funky looks in the past, but we think her Christian Cowan x Powerpuff Girl runway look takes the cake. The black-and-pink tulle creation combined with severe leather leggings and boots completely lost us back in 2019.
Pink is her color! Paris Hilton arrived at the premiere of “The Bling Ring” back in 2013 in this pretty bubblegum pink gown. From the lace detailing to the pleated skirt, the feminine frock paired perfectly with those pale pink heels.
Emma Roberts arrived at the 2019 Fashion Awards in London two months too late for Halloween. Her severe and dramatic black frock by The Attico included too many sequins, a high-low hemline complete with a train and full-length gloves trimmed in white feathers — a messy look that felt more dark costume than couture.
When Emma Roberts stepped on the red carpet at the 2017 Academy Awards in vintage Armani, it quickly became our favorite look from the star. The stunning dual-toned frock featured a scalloped neckline, spaghetti straps and a creamy lace skirt that delivered a throwback feel and ultra-glamorous vibe.
