Instagram was a trove of inspiration this past week. The feeds were full of festive Halloween costumes. A standout included Russian model Irina Shayk, who got into the spirit by wearing a strappy, slinky lace dress and matching robe, along with lace tights and heeled sandals. To make it spooky, Shayk smeared makeup to look like blood on her face and chest.
Another fabulous moment came from the famed hairstylist Gerald de Cock. He and Elisa Jimenez collaborated on costumes for Bette Midler’s annual Hulaween, which raised funds for the New York Restoration Project. De Cock and Jimenez’s Boogie Nights-themed costume was worn by artist Jeffrey C. Williams, who dazzled in a pair of metallic flares and a halter.
Cardi B announced on Instagram that she had purchased a home in New York, with the caption, “This is one dream I can cross off…..Let me know if ya’ll want a mini tour!” For the occasion, she wore a leopard print coat and a matching beret. A celebratory look, indeed.
Jonah Hill has been looking great, as well. On a film set, he wore a burgundy velvet suit with a light blue button-up shirt that revealed his chest tattoo. The cherry on top? His slicked-back hair.
And for those who love a Balenciaga motorcycle bag moment? Gear up. Devon Lee Carlson was spotted carrying an teeny metallic iteration.
