GUWAHATI: A beauty parlour visit turned horrendous for a woman in Assam. Binita Nath had visited a beauty parlour in Silchar ahead of a family wedding. She wanted to go for de-tan procedure and had undergone it at a beauty parlour in Silchar.
Following the procedure, she started having issues with her skin. She shared her experience on Facebook regarding the matter.
“This is a disturbing post I know. I had come to India recently to attend sis-in-law’s marriage and hence visited a parlour. I am sharing these photos and videos just to make my friends and relatives aware about the Sarada Beauty Parlour in Silchar. They are totally unprofessional. However, the Silchar based beauty parlour owner has contradicted her claims.
“I was not present in the parlour. The situation happened between my staff and her,” Biswadeep Deb Roy told G Plus. On the matter of the skin issue, Deb Roy claimed that the customer was apprised of the effects of the procedure. “She knew her skin well and still went through the procedure. There was already a conversation between the merits and demerits of the treatment,” added Deb Roy.
The owner has claimed that the beauty parlour’s business has been affected following the post. “It will definitely affect my business if someone pokes your organisation. I have spoken to her family as well regarding the matter,” said the owner.
Binita Nath is now recovering fast from her condition and requested the public to calm down now. “I shall share a post soon when I recover. Keep me in your prayers. I am sorry I cannot reply to individual msgs as it’s more than 1000 in total. Yes, I met a dermatologist immediately and am recovering fast. Thanks again,” she posted on Facebook.
