Raven Gates finally got to wear her wedding dress! The Bachelor star and fiancé Adam Gottschalk said “I do” on April 16, 2021, at The Olana in Dallas after COVID postponed their May 2020 wedding plans not once but twice. The couple met on Bachelor in Paradise, and Adam proposed in June 2019.
Finally, after postponing and then postponing again, Raven and Adam came to a conclusion: They weren’t willing to wait any longer, even if they had to totally reimagine their wedding plans in order to marry safely. This meant cutting down their guest list and letting go of some of their long-planned wedding dreams.
“We completely replanned our wedding even down to the venue location,” Raven tells Brides. “We wanted everyone to feel safe, which was why we only had 20 of our family and closest friends attend”.
One thing that remained the same? Raven’s wedding dress! The bride walked down the aisle in a stunning Watters gown that she said “yes” to back in 2020 before the pandemic changed everything.
“When I walked into the venue for the first time, it almost felt like the dress fit the venue perfectly,” she explains.

A stunning veil made Raven feel even more like a bride. Just look at that expression!
I wanted my dress to be 100 percent me, and I think I accomplished that.
“I wanted my dress to be 100 percent me, and I think I accomplished that,” Raven says.
When we were with Raven last year, she teased us, saying, “You can expect a very romantic, yet show-stopping dress,” she says. “And, hey, maybe you’ll even see more than one dress!”
Congrats, Raven, you accomplished that…now we just need to see your other looks!
